Funding Update
We just submitted three more grant proposals to help the funding of The Clarksburg Yard. Two were federal grants and one was a Montgomery County grant. All were Capital Grants (which means the money is specifically for construction and building versus programming).
While we put our heart and soul into each of them, the federal grant feels more out of reach, while the county grant seems much more likely. While we are waiting to hear about that funding, we have local fundraising we need to do to help us reach our goal and break ground on Phase 1 in September 2024!
How can you help?
To make The Clarksburg Yard a reality, we need your support. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we've already raised $30,000. But we still have a significant amount to reach our target of $85,000 by August 2024.
