Welcome to the blog!

This is the place where you’ll find the latest updates on the development of The Clarksburg Yard. We can’t wait to see how everything unfolds to create a space for Clarksburg neighbors to gather and thrive!

Currently, we are in the final stages of finishing the design process for the coffee bar and outdoor green space. (Thank you Nature Sacred, EnvrioCollab, and Nth Degree Architecture + Interiors for listening to our community and coming up with a design with our needs and desires in mind.) The design is amazing and I can’t wait to share all the details with you! It has everything including a nature playscape, hammocks, fireplaces, community stages, yard games, walking paths, and more!

Once our permits have come in, we will be able to break ground with the funds from the Maryland State Bond Bill we received so far. (Thank you District 15 Representatives and Senator!)

We are still waiting to hear back from other grant sources for which we have already applied.
